"Craig Flies for Di" is exactly what it sounds like – me voluntarily launching myself through the air at Strathclyde Country Park for a very good cause.

I'm taking on the Strathcarron Zipslide in memory of my mother-in-law, Di. She was a brilliant woman, fiercely loved by her family and friends, and she's missed more than words can say.

Strathcarron Hospice does incredible work, supporting people and families through some of the toughest times they'll ever face.

Their care, compassion and dignity make a real difference when it's needed most, and this is my small way of giving something back.

Let's be honest, it doesn't take much to talk me into doing something daft, especially when there's a bit of adrenaline involved. So signing up for the Zipslide was an easy yes. Doing it in memory of Di makes it all the more worthwhile, and if it helps raise funds for the incredible work Strathcarron Hospice does, then it's a challenge worth taking on.
