Our shops

We take pride in our Hospice Shops, which offer a wide range of new and quality used goods.

The joy of shopping in one of our local charity shops is that Strathcarron Hospice benefits from every penny spent. For example, a beautiful £15 dress could cover half an hour's specialist nursing care for a friend or loved one.

All your wonderful donations are appreciated and as always, a huge thank you to all our amazing charity shoppers and fundraisers for your generosity, passion and ongoing support.

You can donate goods and any one of our shops and the locations and opening times are detailed below. If you are a UK tax payer, you can also Gift Aid your donation which will enable us to receive a further 25% on the value of any item that we sell – just let the shop know that you are a tax payer and fill out a very short Gift Aid Declaration Form.

We also have a Strathcarron Hospice Shop on eBay where we sell some of the more specialist and unusual items of donated stock which we receive.

Donations

Please see a list of shops with donation days confirmed. We advise calling the store in advance of handing in your items, to ensure we have capacity to store, sort and price your kind donations.

Did you know that Strathcarron Hospice can sell items that you donate on Ebay.

Collectables, furniture, vintage clothing etc. are now sold worldwide where we have a customer base of more than 19 million people!

If you would like your items sold through ebay to generate funds for the hospice, please contact our Ebay Co-ordinator on 01324 638307 or at [email protected]

If you wish to donate furniture and need this to be collected, please call 01324 635 267. Regrettably, we can only up lift items of furniture that are suitable for re-sale as there would be a significant cost to us if we had to take these items to a refuse dump.

What You Can Donate

Our shops are really grateful for good quality donations as stated below to help us raise vital funds for the Hospice.

  • Men's, women's and children's clothing.
  • Accessories including shoes, belts handbags and jewellery.
  • Quality homeware - anything from cushions to crockery.
  • Linens.
  • Mobile phones and used printer cartridges.
  • Electricals (but please do check with your local shop before you donate these).
  • Furniture (with the fire retardant labels attached).

Unfortunately, there are a few things that we can't sell - damaged or broken toys, children's car seats or booster seats, child cot and pram mattresses.

Please contact your nearest shop if you are not sure if we can accept your donation and they will be happy to help.

Our shops are listed below the map, please follow the link to find the contact information or alternatively you can enter your postcode to find the one nearest to you.
