Strathcarron is where my mum, Aileen, spent her last days in 2023. Since then, I have always wanted to do something to raise money for the hospice and to honour her life. On the 14th of May, I started a 415 mile running journey that took me from the border of Scotland and England to Cape Wrath in the north west of Scotland. Over 17 days, I ran nearly a marathon a day across all types of terrain. I ran over 99% of the route, only walking if it was impossible due to terrain or it being too steep.

It was an extremely difficult challenge, with bad weather, foot issues, difficult terrain and river crossings. But despite that, I had an amazing adventure and I’m now keen to raise as much money as possible. Please donate what you can to support the continued important work of the hospice.

I have an instagram account called Trossachs Trails where I documented my journey. Feel free to follow me. 🙏
