Hi there thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page! I’ve decided to run the Edinburgh Half Marathon on the 24th of May, raising money for Strathcarron Hospice. Any donation would be much appreciated!


Last year while working with the District Nurses in Cumbernauld and Kilsyth, I worked closely with Strathcarron Hospice to support patients and their families in the community impacted by life-limiting conditions. I’ve witnessed first hand the amazing work of Strathcarron Hospice and I’m honoured to be fundraising on their behalf. The hard work of Strathcarron and the District Nurses to support those approaching end of life takes a huge amount of compassion, patience and team work at families during this challenging time. Promoting independence in the community is a subject I feel very passionate about and I hope to make a difference through this fundraising journey. Sofia Nelli
