I'm walking The West Highland Way which is a 96 mile walk through the West Highlands from Milngavie to Fort William with tough conditions and terrain to say the least. I'm with a group called 'The Walk For Jock' which is a walking group that walk the West Highland Way every year but the participants vary and everyone chooses the charity they want to walk for. I have chosen Strathcarron Hospice as they do great work to provide care and support to over 1,400 people with a life-limiting illness or condition, at a time when both they and their family need it most. The Hospice philosophy is about living until you die and Strathcarron ensure people have every opportunity to achieve their goals right up until the last moment. I have had family plus friends receive care from Strathcarron Hospice and I've seen first hand the great work that they do.

As an independent Hospice all care is provided free of charge and services include a 24-bed inpatient unit, Day Care, Hospice@Home, Community Nurse Specialists and Lymphoedema clinic. Strathcarron need to raise over £19,452 every day to keep these services running. Thank you for helping.

If you choose to donate to this very worthy cause it would be very much appreciated. Donations of any amount will be greatly welcomed. Thank you. D WP
