In 2011 we lost a family member to cancer, a few months prior their twin also died with the care and support of Strathcarron Hospice. As a family we decided we would fundraise to pay for both of their stays. This led to the £7k challenge. Over several years we raised the £7k and just kept going and supporting others in their efforts to keep Strathcarron doing all the amazing things it does for families at the worst times in life. Being crafters and loving making things we decided to set up a business that would only charge for materials and time (well some of it, all crafters know you cannot possibly charge for all your time!) and any profits will go to Strathcarron.
