In Memory Blackpool Marathon in honour of my Grandpa G Hi all, This is the way to Amarillo!!!!! I’m running the Blackpool Marathon this April in memory of my Grandpa G, and to raise money for Strathcarron Hospice. Grandpa G was someone who meant the world to our family. During his final days, the care, compassion, and dignity provided by the hospice made an incredibly difficult time more bearable—not just for him, but for all of us who loved him. We will always be grateful for the kindness shown when it mattered most. Training for a marathon comes with moments of pain, exhaustion, and self-doubt. But no amount of discomfort a runner experiences is even remotely comparable to what people and their families endure during terminal illness. If pushing myself for a few hours can help support the incredible work Strathcarron Hospice does every day, then every step is worth it. Thank you for supporting this cause and for helping keep such vital care available to those who need it most. So Grandpa G I know you’ll be at the start and finish line and every step between. I hope we do you proud. Donate Fundraise All proceeds go to My own fundraising event So far your kind donations have raised £102 Share this page Email Facebook Twitter Manage Cookie Preferences
