Sri Lanka Cycle 2026

Join Team Strathcarron and take on the Sri Lanka Cycle Challenge for a truly inspirational experience; you'll make friends for life, push yourself beyond your limits and make memories you’ll cherish for a lifetime all while raising vital funds for Strathcarron Hospice.

Our challenge starts with a climb up Yapahuwa Rock for sunset on foot before we embark on the start of our cycling challenge the following day. Once our cycle gets underway, we’ll bike through small villages, lush forests and rolling hills, pausing to explore temples and historic sites throughout our adventure.

From the picturesque tea plantations of Nuwara Eliya to the wildlife-rich plains of Udawalawe, each day will bring new sights and experiences. Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or new to the world of challenge events, this adventure is sure to leave you with memories that will stick with you for years to come!

Option A - Minimum Sponsorship

Registration Fee £299 + Min Sponsorship £3800 + Airport Tax and Fuel Surcharge Contribution: £250

Please note 80% of your minimum sponsorship will be due 11 weeks prior to your cycle challenge (Friday 4th September 2026)

Option B - Self-Funding

Registration Fee £299 + Self Funding £1900 + Airport Tax and Fuel Surcharge Contribution: £250
