Volunteer Stenhousemuir Strathcarron Retail Shop

I volunteered 5 years ago in the Hospice furniture shop and that led to me securing a paid role in the shop in Hallam Road. It has helped me improve my communication skills especially as I have autism so it has helped massively with my social skills.

Before I joined Strathcarron I was not a social butterfly. I had built up walls and would hide in corners, but it has helped break down my walls and made me more communicative, so I am really happy.
