The Beattie family recently organised a fundraising Country and Western Night in memory loved ones who was cared for by the Hospice raising an incredible £11,469.

Almost 300 friends and family attended the event decked out in Country and Western themed costumes for the event held at the Rosebank Rooms in Bainsford.

The family want to thank all the businesses who donated raffle prizes and support as they were blown away by the generosity of the local community.

The event was made possible thanks to sponsorship from local businesses IBT and Jewson Falkirk.

Kevin - a Strathcarron Hospice Ambassador - and Annemarie fundraise because of the care Kevin's mum Jane received from Strathcarron in 2018 and his Uncle William in 2025.

They've taken on a multitude of fundraising initiatives including race nights, themed events, marathons, sky dives, overseas challenge (Kilimanjaro) and Santa's Grotto at Belgica.

Annemarie said: "Everyone made such a great effort and was so generous on the night which made all the hard work worthwhile. I'm so glad all 296 people didn't bring their horses!"

The money raised - £11,469 - takes their overall fundraising total to an incredible £81,714.
