Carron Bathrooms in Falkirk ended 2024 on a high reaching a fantastic milestone of £100,000 worth of donations to the Hospice

Staff have been donating to us annually through give as you earn/payroll giving, collectively donating just over £100,000 since the Hospice opened.

Lynn Jarvie from Carron Bathrooms, said: “We are delighted to be able to help Strathcarron. With it being a local charity we all know someone who has been impacted and needed the services of the Hospice. As a local business it is important to be kind and think of those in our local community we can help.

“For such as small number of staff, when you add it all up over the years the donations make a big difference. It is a small token gesture of £2 a month from each staff member that people don’t even think about as it comes straight off our wages and it can help in such an amazing way. 

“The Hospice needs over £16,000 a day to run their services which is a huge amount and we are proud to help with that by giving our annual collective donation. 

“No one wants to have to use these services, but we are very grateful that they are there.”

Claire Kennedy, Claire Kennedy, Corporate Fundraiser at Strathcarron Hospice, said: “Payroll giving is a great source of income for the Hospice and as Lynn said, it is a really straightforward way of donating as you, the donator, don't need to do anything once it is set up. It's amazing how these gifts add up and goes to show that every penny really does make a difference.
