Compassionate Communities volunteers praised by CVS Falkirk and District Congratulations to our Compassionate Neighbours volunteers on recognition of their volunteering this week from CVS Falkirk and District. CVS organisations across the country support, develop and represent community groups, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and volunteering. The volunteers assist our Compassionate Communities team by connecting with individuals in our local communities in a number of different ways, including popping in for a cuppa and a chat, telephone befriending, or supporting someone to get out and about for a short while. The whole team was nominated for the Health & Wellbeing Award and volunteer Sean Deane was nominated for the Young Volunteer of the Year Award. Each Compassionate Neighbour volunteer received a certificate to mark their fantastic work. All our volunteers who do roles across our Hospice community do an amazing job and we could not function without them. Thank you for all you do 💙 Interested in volunteering?
