Design firm donates skills to create Strathcarron's 45th anniversary logo Stirlingshire based design firm GUGA Creative has collaborated with Scotland’s largest independent Hospice on a special logo for their 45th anniversary. Creative Director Brian Wishart, whose studio is in Killearn, has created the special logo for Strathcarron Hospice to mark ‘Celebrate 45’. The design, which features local landmarks from the Hospice’s catchment areas Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth reflects the community focus of the Hospice. Brian said: “It was an honour to be approached by Strathcarron Hospice to create their 45th anniversary logo. GUGA Creative was delighted to get the chance to give something back, to donate in a creative way that will support the marketing and comms for the 45th anniversary fundraising campaign in 2026. “The visual identity we've created takes inspiration from well known and loved local monuments and motifs that symbolize hope and will celebrate the 45 years of essential care, compassion and support the Hospice has provided to the countless families in the hearts of the communities of Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth. “It's a vital service not to be taken for granted. Strathcarron Hospice is a charity so fundraising is essential. I would encourage everyone to donate whatever you can whether that be supporting financially or volunteering your time, as you will find it very rewarding!” Creative Director Brian Wishart - GUGA Creative Strathcarron Hospice Communications Officer Katy Whitelaw, said: “We would like to thank Brian at GUGA Creative for the ‘service-in-kind’ donation of his time, expertise and design skills for Strathcarron. We are delighted with the logo for Celebrate 45 and look forward to using it across the year to mark our special events and activities in 2026. “Our 45 years of Strathcarron care have been made possible by you - our wonderful Hospice community. We invite everyone to join our birthday celebrations by taking on a fun 45 challenge and please share your Strathcarron stories, photos, and memories with us online to raise awareness of the vital work we do. “As a charity we need £19,452 each day to provide our vital services to palliative and end of life care for patients and their loved ones, so donations of expertise and skills in kind such as Brian’s are most welcome. This allows us to focus our funding on patient care. Every life matters, every gift counts.” Click here for for more ideas on how you can get involved and Celebrate 45 Years of Strathcarron Hospice or email [email protected]. Manage Cookie Preferences
