Forth Valley Business Week Ceteris is proud to have raised a total of £2,647 for Strathcarron Hospice during the 2025 Forth Valley Business Week Charity Lunch. The event, which was held in the beautiful venue of Inglewood House and Spa in Alloa in September, treated nearly 100 leaders from the private, public and third sectors across Forth Valley to a delicious three-course lunch, while providing a stunning setting for networking and community connection. The money was raised via tickets sales, a charity raffle, featuring generous donations from Ceteris tenants and local businesses, and sponsorship from Head for Data, marking Ceteris’ first major contribution to Strathcarron Hospice as its Charity of the Year. Maggie Gorman, Business Support and Development Director for Ceteris, said:"Forth Valley Business Week is all about bringing local businesses together, so it was the perfect opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Strathcarron Hospice — a charity that means so much to our community. Our decision to support Strathcarron was inspired by the incredible care they provided our colleague, Eva Paterson, earlier this year. “We’d like to thank all the businesses that donated prizes and those who bought tickets for the event and raffle tickets. We’d also like to thank our sponsor, Head for Data, for their generous support in making this event such a fantastic success." Ceteris Scotland, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2025, has run business week for in Clackmannanshire since 2016, and across Forth Valley since 2024. Claire Kennedy, Corporate Fundraiser at Strathcarron Hospice, added:“We were delighted to partner with Ceteris and be the nominated charity for Forth Valley Business Week. The week of events not only brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders and industry experts but also helped raise vital funds needed to continue providing specialist palliative care to patients and their loved ones. We’re so grateful for the continued support from the business community across the Forth Valley and look forward to working with the team at Ceteris in the future.” Strathcarron Hospice relies on community fundraising to provide its specialist care and needs £102,000 every week to deliver vital services to palliative and end-of-life patients and their families. Funds raised will help us continue providing compassionate care and support to individuals and families across the Forth Valley. Colin Parry, Managing Director of Head for Data said:“We’re proud to support the Forth Valley Business Week Charity Lunch organised by Ceteris in aid of Strathcarron Hospice. It’s fantastic to see businesses coming together to make such a meaningful difference in the Forth Valley and to support such an important charity for our area.” You can read more and follow Ceteris supporting Strathcarron Hospice on their fundraising page.
