Malcolm Group Grangemouth selects Strathcarron as charity of the year Strathcarron is delighted to announce we have been selected by the Malcolm Group Grangemouth depot as their first charity of the year. Hundreds of staff from the Grangemouth depot voted on which charity the team would like to fundraise for 2025 with Strathcarron winning the vote. To kickstart the fundraising efforts, The Donald Malcolm Foundation has made a generous donation of £7,500 to support our palliative and end of life care services. The charity team in Grangemouth will now plan a series of activities across the year, with any funds raised being matched by the Foundation to double the money the Hospice will receive. Kimberley McIntosh, one of Grangemouth's Charity Leader at the Malcolm Group, said: “Our staff are looking forward to fundraising for Strathcarron this year as a number have had family or friends supported by the Hospice. It means a lot to people locally, the work they do is wonderful. “The Donald Malcolm Foundation which was set up at the end of 2024 means that our donations will generously be doubled by the Foundation which gives a huge incentive for staff to raise as much as they can.” Claire Kennedy, Corporate Fundraiser at Strathcarron Hospice, who will support the team with their fundraising said: "We are over the moon to have been voted as the first charity partner for the Grangemouth site. "The team had such a great success in the summer with their fundraising and we've already got lots of ideas of what they can get involved in throughout 2025. We can't wait to get started!"
